Have you ever found it difficult to talk to your doctor about Fibromyalgia and how to manage it?
You are not alone! Fibromyalgia is a particularly tricky condition because your labs come back normal and doctors often aren’t trained to help you manage it successfully.
It is common to feel your concerns are ignored & to feel disbelieved. Even the kindest of doctors may not have many tools to help you feel better
Having Fibro is a hard enough grind without having to fight our corner all the time. It’s just not fair!
One thing that’s really important is how we prepare to talk to our Doctor and what we say in appointments. That includes how to get a diagnosis, being clear about our Fibro symptoms, excluding other conditions & some ways to share data with them.
In order to help my clients communicate with their Doctors more clearly about what they need I created a helpful checklist which you can find here.
I hope it helps! Please let me know. You can email me here
